I’m a retired Chef love this knife. Outstanding. I wanted a knife that could be used for multiple settings, kitchen and the camp or woods. I look at some of the bad reviews and laugh. It's funny how spoiled people are, they want all these things. Then honestly pay more and get the fancy kitchen knives that will shatter if dropped. Probably the same people who bang the back of the knife to cut frozen food. I restore damaged high-end knives for a hobby. The abuse I see on knives is crazy. This knife will take the abuse. The people complaining most likely use those horrible electric knife chewers they say sharpen knives. Learn proper knife care and stop whining. This knife is a beast. You will not regret it. It's a user, not a piece to collect dust in your knife block.
Don't order this unless you have a belt sander because it came really dull and won't fit in a regular sharpener. But I like how heavy and solid it feels. I'd buy it again because I have a belt sander.
